Supported volunteer efforts, wrote and edited materials including brochures, annual reports, direct mail and press releases. Prepared and wrote grant narrative for foundations, membership, and donors, organized special events, maintained database.

Expanded afterschool program to provide services for entire community. Established policies and procedures, advocated program as demonstration site for national model with Yale University resulting in award as a School of the 21st Century.
